And despite a few weird interruptions from host Chris Harrison, Adams and Brendan had a blast. They also shared a kiss when they spent some time alone in the pool. Then Adams shared that she was ready to go home with her competitor.

“Honestly, get me cowboy together, because I’m ready to go home with her man,” she said in a confessional. “I’m telling you now, Brendan is everything.”

But even so, Adams wanted to make sure she could connect with him on a deeper level. During the dinner party of the date, Brendan said he was starting to fall for his head. He also dropped information about his past, sharing that he was previously married and divorced. Then Adams opened up about his own divorce, revealing that their stories were quite similar.

“Divorce is really a big deal. I thought I was dying when I walked through it. So it was really therapeutic to feel it to my heart by saying all the words that my heart has felt for the past two years, ”Adams said in a confessional. “I felt like I was not alone. We just bonded on a different level.

Later, The bachelorette couple went out to watch fireworks together. Adams also gushed about his connection with Brendan in a voiceover. “Kissing Brendan is like kissing myself. I really feel connected to him, ”she says. “I don’t know, I feel like I could marry her, which is so weird. I don’t even think I ever felt that way.

Adams added, “Today was truly magical, you can’t describe it other than magical. I finally feel like I’m single, and that’s what I’m here for. I know I’m gonna find the person I’m really meant to be with.

Then in the middle of the episode, Lindsay brought up Adams’ comments on Brendan after their one-on-one date. So the new manager explained why she felt so connected to her competitor.

“I said that,” Adams said. “We had a long discussion about marriage and divorce. … This was the first time I had a conversation with a man who I thought could really identify with me and understand where my heart and my head were.

She continued, “I just remember sitting there and telling him exactly how he felt. Like how he handled it and what it meant to him. I swear to you, he was saying the words everything I ever felt. So we connected very deeply, very quickly. “

Adams also noted that Brendan was “super hot,” and he got the first face to face because he caught his eye on the first night. But eventually, Adams’ fun date with Brendan gave him confidence in Bachelorette process.
