Ted Cruz says Heidi is ‘pretty pissed off’ by texts leaked in Cancun

Heidi Cruz is “pissed off” that texts showing her neighborhood buddies inviting during the family’s deaf exit to Cancun have been leaked to the press, according to Senator Ted Cruz, who tore those responsible up like “holes”.

The Texas GOPer addressed his PR nightmare of a trip to Mexico on the “Ruthless” podcast, which aired Tuesday.

“I’ll say Heidi’s pissed off enough for that,” Cruz said of the group text where her better half asked friends to flee to Cancun with them amid the “FREEZING” times.

Cruz noted that he had a mix of Republican and Democratic neighbors in his exclusive River Oaks neighborhood in Houston – and said the leak was a sign of “how ridiculously politicized and mean” people can become.

“Here’s a suggestion: don’t be one-hole,” he continued. “Like, just, you know, treating each other like human beings has a certain degree, a minimum of respect.”

Cruz controlled the damage after being caught flying to Cancun with his wife and two daughters on Wednesday, days after Texas was crippled by a once-in-a-lifetime winter storm.

The senator was forced to cut his trip short, return home the next day and apologize.

Cruz has come under a mini-vacation lens – and for leaving the family dog, Snowflake, home alone with no power or heat.

“Apparently I gave Snowflake to the wolves,” said Cruz, avoiding the backlash. “He was at home with a dog sitter. The heat had sort of returned. This is all a bit absurd.

He also criticized the media for posting pictures of Heidi in a bikini on the beach.

“I’ll tell you she’s pissed off,” he joked.

At the start of his podcast interview, Cruz dismissed the long-standing joke that he is the infamous Zodiac Killer, who terrorized the Golden State decades ago.

“Look, I haven’t had that much negative media coverage since Northern California in the 1960s,” he snapped.
