A Tennessee hunter told investigators he witnessed the killing of two duck hunters in a lake early Monday, officials said, while the 70-year-old suspect was still at large.
Arrest warrants were issued Tuesday for the arrest of David Vowell, considered to be armed and dangerous, on two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Chance Black, 26, and Zachary Grooms, 25 years old at Reelfoot Lake in Obion. County, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.

No details of the circumstances leading to the killings were immediately disclosed.
Vowell, 70, is considered armed and dangerous, investigators said.

Obion County District Attorney Tommy Thomas told WREG-TV investigators spoke to a third hunter who was in the same blind duck as the victims when the incident occurred, but that they couldn’t comment on what had led to the shooting.
Thomas told ABC News a witness alleged that Vowell shot the men after an argument broke out.
Investigators told media that a vehicle and boat belonging to Vowell was found as the search for the suspect intensified.
Resident David Gray told local station WPSD-TV that the lake “is a very quiet area” and that the incident has caused concern in the community.
“A lot of hunters come here and they like duck hunting and stuff, but to be upset about someone shooting more ducks or whatever, I don’t know,” Gray said.
