INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) – Atlanta-based marketing technology company Terminus, which has a major presence in Indianapolis, has acquired Zylotech, a Boston-based B2B customer data platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, although Zylotech was renamed Terminus CDP.
Terminus claims the acquisition makes it the only account-based marketing platform with a stand-alone CDP build specifically for the B2B space. Terminus CDP will be led by Matt Belkin, who joined Terminus when acquiring GrowFlare last year.
The company says Terminus CDP enables marketing teams to improve data accuracy and campaign efficiency, and reduce unnecessary sales cycles.
?? “Bad data in is equal to bad data out. Period,” said Tim Kopp, CEO of Termius, in a press release. “We’re entering a marketing revolution – data is really the new oil, and Terminus sits on a gold mine. Under Matt’s leadership, Terminus CDP is poised to be a game-changer for our clients. This level of data accuracy is critical for B2B GTM teams seeking a unified view of their customers I have never been so excited about the future of marketing.
Terminus Founder and CTO Abi Yadav will join Terminus as Head of Platform Innovation. The company did not say whether other jobs would be affected by the acquisition.
Terminus entered the Indianapolis market with its Acquisition 2019 of the electronic signature marketing platform based on Indy Sigstr. Earlier this year, the business closed on a $ 90 million Series C round of funding, which Kopp said would lead to the addition of dozens of jobs at Indy.
