The driver of a Tesla 3 died when the roof of his car was razed after colliding with a Friday night, announced the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The accident occurred just before 6:30 on National Highway 7 north of Atlantic Avenue.
The trailer was stopped on the way to the Tesla, which was heading south at the time, PBSO said.
The car hit the driver's side of the trailer, losing its roof as it passed underneath, according to a report from the sheriff's office.
The driver, identified as Jeremy Beren Banner, 50, died on the scene, according to PBSO.
