Patty Jenkins just dropped off one of the coolest superhero posters I've ever seen, full of color. This is for Wonder Woman 1984, and it has Gal Gadot dressed in what appears to be a brand new costume, surrounded by a trippant light shaped – what else – from a W. See the new Wonder Woman 1984 Poster below!
You have now heard: WB will not be visiting Hall H this year. We are so sad to miss you here! And meanwhile until December to start our official # WW84 Complete campaign – But the truth is … we can just … just … wait … pic.twitter.com/QllFzhYRA6

I swear I shouted "fucking shit!" – out loud – when I saw this tweet. Posters of superheroes are often bland and colorless. Therefore, when something like this happens, the system is shocked. In the wake of the announcement that Warner Bros. would not visit Hall H of SDCC this year, Patty Jenkins invited Twitter to unveil this magnificent Wonder Woman 1984 poster, and reveals that the official promotional campaign of the film will not start until December. Which means do not expect a trailer before that date. For now, it's really great. Here is the poster alone:
I saw it early Wonder Woman 1984 SDCC last year, and it was very colorful and visually brilliant, which corresponds well to this poster. So what's the problem with gold armor? According to the DC Wiki, Wonder Woman wears a "golden ceremonial battle armor … whenever she has to deal with a powerful villain". The armor also has certain abilities:
- Superhuman sustainability: Protection against explosions, gunshots, electricity and most physical and energy attacks.
- Flight
- Sealed systems: The helmet has a retractable faceplate. When using, the wearer has a protected air supply.
This does not mean that these same abilities will be at stake in the movie, but it's something to keep in mind.
Wonder Woman 1984 opens June 5, 2020.
Fast forward in the 1980s, as the next big-screen adventure of Wonder Woman finds her in the face of a new enemy: the cheetah. The main shots are underway for Warner Bros. Pictures in the wake of the first Super Hero release, "Wonder Woman", last summer's record, which brought in $ 822 million at the global box office. "Wonder Woman 1984" will also be directed by famous director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot in the lead role.
As previously announced, the film also stars Kristen Wiig as super villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. And Chris Pine comes back as Steve Trevor.
