"The belly has just come out of nowhere in a few weeks really," said Clinton, 49, at Kennedy News and Media. "Everywhere else, I had lost weight – I had just lost my buttocks, my legs were like sticks, my arms, my face was really skinny. But I had that big belly. It was scary. "

Clinton explained that she had raised other symptoms ranging up to a gym injury, irritable bowel syndrome and increased water intake. A previous medical appointment would also have missed his tumors. She added that doctors had drained seven liters of fluid from her stomach during her first biopsy and seven more during a second biopsy. Finally, she had to undergo a complete hysterectomy.

"It's a little fuzzy for me now because I had these blinkers where I thought everything would be fine and I'll get there," she told Kennedy News and Media. "I thought … at the end of the day [if] everything is fine and I go out on the other side, they can throw whatever they want to me. "

Although Clinton showed no signs of cancer, she continues to undergo follow-up testing every six months to make sure the tumors have not returned. She calls for more awareness for the symptoms of non-cancerous tumors.

"I am very lucky," she told reporters. "You do not realize how lucky you are, do not you?" I am grateful to my friends for having the pregnancy test done that day, otherwise I may have continued to pass it or leave it. People do this because you do not dare to think it's serious. "
