Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be a heroine for legions of fans, but Wonder Woman is not – says DC Comics.

The publisher has banned a small comic book company from selling the young democrat's blankets in Wonder Woman-style clothing, according to comic book sites.

Devil's Due Comics directs a cartoon on AOC titled "Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: the new party Who Dis?"

"Take a basket, grab a cup of coffee and get ready to enjoy this reading!", Reads on a promotional web page, citing the jargon associated with President Trump.

According to comicbook.com, DC Comics has asked Devil's Due Comics not to distribute the expected 250 copies of the special AOC blanket wearing a metallic tiara and blue skirt, and standing over a stunned red elephant. Copies with different covers have not been disputed.

But the Wonder Woman theme is still available online. A copy sold for about $ 25 on eBay on Saturday night.

Devils Due Comics presents several comics on political themes, such as "Talk Bernie to Me" and "Barack the Barbarian".
