Last year, Tencent and Activision started testing an Android mobile version of Call of Duty, and today at the GDC, announced that the game would soon begin a beta test, available in regions such as Europe as well as North and South America. Call of Duty: Mobile maintains the game performance look on at least Xbox 360 and PS3 hardware, and promises familiar cards from previous entries such as Black Ops and Modern Warfare.

The mobile version is a free game focused on competitive multiplayer matches, in modes like Search and Destruction, Team Deathmatch and free for all. It's unclear exactly when the beta test will start on iOS and Android, but interested players can sign up to access the official website here, and check out a short trailer below.
