The C Seek M1 is a giant MicroLED TV in transformation – Robb Report

C Seed is no stranger to extravagant TVs, but his latest set takes things up a notch. And a giant in addition.

The Austrian company’s just announced M1 is a foldable 4K MicroLED TV that pops out of the ground like a robot when you’re ready to watch the big game or binge on your favorite show. While that alone makes it stand out, so does its size, as the set measures 165 inches diagonally.

You can enjoy watching the M1 power up just as much as watching an episode of The Sopranos above. When you’re ready to sit down and watch a show or movie, a hidden compartment in the floor opens, an obelisk-shaped column rises up and then, when standing, the folded screen unfolds before s ‘enclose in place in the base of the set. Basically, it’s a Transformer that turns into a TV and doesn’t take up any space when you’re doing other things.

Equally impressive is the vivid, crystal-clear picture quality of the TV from its 165-inch 4K MicroLED display. The screen is covered with a special screen surface display which ensures that the black areas are rich and crisp, while the company’s adaptive gap calibration technology makes the border between each of the panels folding completely invisible screen. The set’s aircraft-grade aluminum frame includes a pair of 250-watt full-range speakers and a 700-watt subwoofer, helping to create an immersive viewing experience.

C Seed bills the M1 as “the world’s first 165-inch foldable MicroLED TV” and a technical innovation like that doesn’t come cheap. The set, which is available in four finishes – black, gold, silver and matte “Titan” – will set you back $ 400,000.

Surprisingly, the M1 isn’t the company’s largest foldable TV. This title belongs to the brand’s 301-inch outdoor TV. It’s nowhere near as stylish, and its image quality can’t compare to the M1, but it can withstand the elements and is a jaw-dropping 25 feet by 19 feet.
