NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WTVF) – More than 20 people have been infected with E. coli in Tennessee.
The Centers for Disease Control study the origin of the disease, but have not yet identified a food product, grocery store or restaurant chain.
A total of 72 confirmed cases were reported in five states. Kentucky and Tennessee top the list with 36 and 21 respectively.
Georgia has brought in eight, Ohio five and Virginia two.
Eight people were hospitalized and no one died.
