Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Clayton Kershaw "did not feel well" after playing wrestling on Friday.
"Where he is right now, it may take another day or two before he takes it back," Roberts told reporters.
The left-handed ace had announced on Friday that he was moving away from the pitch, but without providing any particular reason. On Sunday, Roberts told reporters that it was because of the inflammation in Kershaw's shoulder. He also said Kershaw would play on Monday, but did not say how much he would throw or how far he would throw.

Robert said the results of Monday's session were worrisome.
"It's not ideal," he said. "You hope he'll get a ball back and he'll feel better, so it's obviously not ideal, but we'll take care of everything that comes our way."
Roberts said that there were still no plans for testing.
"We will meet the training staff and propose an action plan for Clayton," he said. "But for the moment, we have no planned MRI."
Kershaw, 30, averaged 2.73 and a whiz of 1.04 last season. But his fastball speed dropped to the lowest of the 90s and his slider started to take the characteristics of a cutter, giving Kershaw little difference apart from the rare occasions when he threw his curve. This resulted in the lowest exit rate (8.6) and the highest number of successes (7.8) since his rookie season in 2008.
The day he signed a three-year extension to stay with the Dodgers in early November, an agreement that was essentially added to the contract he terminated. Kershaw has expressed his desire to "prove that many people are wrong" and again press some of his speed.
