Looks like The 2018 Game Awards just happened, and yet we're talking about this year's show. The awards ceremony, held annually by the one and only Geoff Keighley, is a bit more like his own press conference. The show last year has been host to several announcements of new games and exclusive trailers. it was often felt that the titular rewards were simply a game apart.
That will only continue in The 2019 Game Game, which will mark the fifth anniversary of Keighley's creation. In a tweet, the industry figure reveals the date of this year's show.
So, mark your agendas: the Game Awards will be delivered on December 12, 2019. This fifth showcase could be the biggest. We trust Geoff.
