[UPDATE]

These are now confirmed dates. You can join Comic-Con International from Wednesday 22 July to Sunday 26 July 2020.

[PREVIOUS]

If you still have not recovered from the San Diego Comic-Con 2018, we have something that could make you turn your head: likely dates for the San Diego Comic-Con 2020. Yes, you read that right.

As reported for the first time by an Englishman in San Diego, it is very likely that we have the dates of Comic-Con 2020 in San Diego: July 22 to 26, 2020.

In recent years, the dates of future conventions have been unobtrusively revealed on the San Diego Convention Center website, well before the official announcement of Comic-Con International. In August, we shared dates of 2019, which were confirmed by CCI last month (and for those who do not know it already: July 17-21, 2019).

And now, the Convention Center has quietly added a new entry that looks very familiar to CCSD participants:

135,000 participants? A congress from Thursday to Sunday, exactly the same week as the congress took place in 2018 and will be held in 2019? Not much else that could be. It should be noted that although dates may feel later than usual, it's still the third full week of the month.

Historically, the San Diego Convention Center does not take into account the date of the Wednesday night screening that will set the convention from July 22 to 26, 2020 for the four and a half days.

Currently, 2021 is the last year under contract for San Diego's Comic-Con to stay, well, San Diego – which may mean that Comic-Con is planning dates for 2021 right now .

Are you going to visit the hotel websites now? Let us know in the comments.
