I am totally to be aggressive and competitive, but not instead of using common sense when you get the necessary dominance of the mound. The Braves managed to overcome it.

The Braves beat the Padres tonight behind a dominant performance by Mike Soroka, a cutter whose Mariano Rivera would be jealous of Josh Tomlin and the hot shot of Ozzie Albies.
At the top of the first, Soroka gave 2 hits and a double play to give the first leg of the match. Things would go pretty quietly down to the bottom of the third. Ender Inciarte would score with 1 withdrawal, he would unfortunately be forced to leave the match because of an injury to the leg. Johan Camargo would enter the match as a precision runner, with captain Clutch Mike Soroka taking the lead. Then, the only thing everyone was waiting for arrived.

After the exploits of Soroka, Albies would offer one to drive to Soroka. After all this, the only thing the Braves needed was more than anything: pitching made them do the rest of the way. Starting in the fourth round, Mike Soroka, Josh Tomlin, Jerry Blevins and Jacob Webb allied to allow only two hits.
Ozzie Albies will add his confirmation to the bottom of the 5th with his sixth round of the season. With the game of Ronald Acuna Jr. silenced last week, Albies took over with ease. Although Snitker certainly deserves to be criticized for another potentially costly move tonight, his quick change of guardian on the starting point has certainly paid off.
However, the story of the evening was Mike Soroka. He took six innings, scoring a hit, a walk and a run, as well as hitting eight hitters at the height of his career. The consistency of Soroka in the discovery of the area has certainly been a welcome sign for a staff that has a historic pace in the market. For the second time in 3 starts in 2019, Soroka has scored at least 52 of her first 75 shots. The Braves have only done it 3 other times since 2017, the last being Luiz Gohara in September of this year. Max Fried needed a successful partner and Mike Soroka's arrival could not have been faster (as my alliteration is a clutch.)
In addition to the grammatical tools, one night when the Braves were limited in the pens and achieved basic success, Soroka and Tomlin intensified and delivered. With Soroka, Fried and Folty now in the rotation, this will hopefully become the norm rather than the exception.
