The San Jose Sharks saved their season with a huge double overtime victory against the Las Vegas Golden Knights Sunday night, as they won a 2-1 win to force a 7 match to return to San Jose on Tuesday evening.
San Jose nearly won in the first overtime, but was finally able to stay alive when Tomas Hertl, who, after the fifth game, had predicted a seventh game, scored a shorthanded goal.
