Health officials across the country are studying a range of health issues for people who use e-cigarettes or vape machines. The Center for Disease Control reports 94 possible cases of severe lung disease associated with vaping. These cases were reported in 14 states from June 28 to August 15, including 30 in Wisconsin.

According to CNN, Michigan health officials have confirmed that they are also studying possible cases here. Health officials, however, have not confirmed the existence of a direct link between lung problems and the use of vaping devices.

"Although some cases in each state are similar and seem related to the use of electronic cigarette products, additional information is needed to determine the cause of the diseases," the CDC wrote in a statement.

The CDC is currently working with health officials in California, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin on clusters of vaping-related lung disease. States and CDC have partnered to share information and facilitate testing for lung problems.
