Fans of "Game of Thrones" may have lost key points in their plot before the final of the hit HBO hit Sunday night.

An SMS sent to Reddit spread like the fire of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons leading to the last episode of the series.

Deadline reports that the developers accurately predicted the events of the penultimate episode of last week, as well as most of the previous episodes of season 8 of "Game of Thrones".

The Reddit moderators apparently suppressed the message containing the spoilers, but not in time because they had been captured and widely disseminated on social networks.

Videos and photos of many episodes of season 8 also contained spoilers, but at press time, no visual spoilers had come out for episode 6, airing Sunday at 9pm.

Spoilers are not the only problem in the series.

Last week, a Change.org petition urged the network to "redo" Game of Thrones' Season 8 with competent writers. "To date, the petition has garnered more than a million signatures from disgruntled fans of GoT ".

The show also had some editing mistakes this season, including a now infamous coffee mug visible in the Winterfell celebration and complaints about a poor lighting of the Battle of Winterfell.
