(NBC News) They captured our imagination for decades, but we had never photographed a black hole before – until now.
Next Wednesday, at several press briefings around the world, scientists will unveil the first ever photo of a black hole in humanity, the European Space Agency said in a statement. More precisely, the photo will be of "Sagittarius A", the supermassive black hole located in the center of our galaxy of the Milky Way.
