This trip was one of the most stimulating and rewarding collective efforts I have ever taken part in. We did not just launch a campaign, we created a movement in our own backyard. We built the community. We focused on issues that nobody wanted to talk about. We raised our neighbors and discovered a level of courage and friendship that we never thought possible.
