The Google Opinion Rewards app for Android allows users to respond to surveys and receive a credit from the Google Play Store in exchange. While some recent comments from those who have installed the application complain that the surveys are too scarce, the Android Police notes that the application has recently been updated to receive the Google Material Design look. The user interface now includes Google Sans Font and the glossy white background that is part of the look.

The update has not yet reached all Android users and is available from the 201904084 version of the application. The metamorphosis of Material Design removes the blue headers from the application and, instead of a link stating "Spend Your Play Credit", there is a diamond-shaped link including the Play Store logo and simply indicating "Play store (sic)". Pressing this key will take you to Google's online store of Android apps to help you use the credits you've earned.

The application warns you when there is a new investigation to take. All credits received are available on the Google Play Store, although they expire if you do not use them more than one year after the date on which they were credited to your account.

The new look Materials Design is also transferred to the iOS version of the application. While the Android version of the app offers users a Play Store credit, the iOS variant pays money deposited to the user's PayPal account. Indeed, iOS users can not use the Google Play Store on their devices.
