A native of Jacksonville will appear on the Today Show Monday morning from the space.
Christina Koch took part in a nearly seven-hour mission to change the stacks of the International Space Station during her first space excursion on Friday.
She worked alongside astronaut Nick Hague in what was supposed to be the first release in the all-female space.
However, NASA says that they only had a suit that would suit an astronaut woman.
