We are here. It’s time. Bubble Watch is live.
After six weeks of twice-weekly updates, we’re converging on the final pre-NCAA Tournament burst of the season. We started the same process last year, of course, and we all know what happened next: tournaments have stopped, Bubble Watch has stopped, the sport we love and that weird, wordy column. and obsessed with the context we create together has been frozen. The latest BW update of 2020, filed from the Greensboro, NC media center, promised to “end the fight”; it was about 15 minutes before the world stopped. We were on a flight back to DC later that day.
So, yes, there is something particularly satisfying about seeing this year of Bubble Watch right through to its conclusion.
