The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword gets new key art for the HD version. Nintendo showed off the art on its social media channels. It includes Link, Fi and Ghirahim from the title with Skyloft. A lot of the stuff about the Nintendo title may not have aged well, but this painterly art style still pleases the crowd. Fortunately, the company doesn’t just increase the resolution and push the port. Skyward Sword HD will have a mode where motion controls are optional and sword swings will be mapped to the right stick instead. It’s a change that many players are interested in reviewing the title or picking up the Wii version for the first time. Skyward Sword was oddly fortunate to have been released late in the console’s lifecycle. Many were waiting to see what Nintendo had to come and missed the charming adventure. If further Switch remaster efforts are any indication, things could go a little different for the game this time around.
