Mopar has long been Dodge's internal performance group for high-speed parts and accessories. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the brand's commitment to the sustainable Challenger brand, which itself celebrates more than a decade of continued production and success in the modern Detroit muscle car business. As such, Dodge is offering a new special version of its two-door toddler, simply called Mopar '19, the Dodge Challenger.

The improvements mainly concern the appearance, although Mopar also brings some mechanical improvements. The highly visible graphics of Mopar Shakedown will draw attention first, materializing here with the large blue central stripes that fold around Mopar's cool packaging, Shaker Hood. The exterior also receives hood pins, a boot flap and 20-inch wheels with Mopar branded central hats. The interior is not as well dressed, but you'll find polished door sills with Challenger emblazoned on them. Mopar badges on the dashboard and seats remind drivers and passengers that this is a special ride, blessed by Mopar.

As for mechanical upgrades, they are thin but remarkable. A cold air intake Mopar powers the engine, while a set of turret spacers reinforces the rigidity of the fat murderer. The limited edition '19 Dodge Challenger Mopar is only available on R / T Scat Pack models. The 392 Hemi V8, which already produces 485 kW (482 kW) (362 kilowatts), is already equally powerful. Power is returned to the rear through a standard six-speed manual gearbox, but an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional.

"Over the last ten years, we have customized an impressive group of vehicles with exclusive Mopar performance parts and accessories that our passionate customers are looking for," said Mark Bosanac, Manager of After Sales, Parts and Service. 39, Mopar customer support in North America. "This year, we commemorate our tenth edition of Mopar with another unique and collectible Dodge Challenger, which remains the modern sports car just as expensive today as the first generation of vehicles 50 years ago."

Dodge will only offer 100 Dodge Challengers Mopar '19 in North America, painted in black or white. Each car will be delivered with documentation indicating its date of manufacture and production number. Prices start at $ 45,835 and banks open in September.
