The morning routine of Prince William and Kate Middleton with their children has nothing to do with what you expect

Prince William and Kate Middleton are the parents of three adorable children and, although their children are of royal family, the Duke and Duchess revealed that they wished they had a normal childhood. The couple also said that he wanted to be very active when it was about raising Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Since members of the royal family have governesses, chiefs, drivers, and other domestic staff for just about everything, William and Middleton's morning routine with their kiddos is not what you you waited. Here is what you probably did not know that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do with their children every morning.

They take George and Charlotte to school every morning

You may be surprised to learn that William and his wife are bringing their older children to school themselves.

Yeah, instead of drivers or governesses taking them every day, the couple is part of their homework to bring their kids. Because the little prince and princess attend different schools – Charlotte goes to Willcocks Nursery and George to St. Thomas's Battersea – their parents take turns dropping them off.

The Charlotte School is located near the Palace, and George's is in southwest London about half an hour away. One of them walks his daughter and the other will lead his son.

The half-hour commute to George's school is about to change.

The palace recently confirmed that Princess Charlotte would be joining her big brother at Thomas's Battersea this fall, which means the royal family would start carpooling together every morning.

"The goal was always that Charlotte follow George to Thomas, so Louis will probably go too," said a source close to the family at Vanity Fair.

The source added that William and Middleton "are part of the school community, they get along with their heads and are happy with everything George has done since taking office."

And when it's not a school day, the Duke and Duchess always like to keep a routine with their children. Their children do participate in some household chores.

Middleton likes to cook his own meals and George and Charlotte love to help their mother in the kitchen. Matthew Kleiner-Mann, General Manager of the Ivy Learning Trust, recounted a conversation he had with Middleton about his kids learning to cook.

"She told us how much her kids love to cook and how they cook for her. They made cheese pasta the other day. The flour is mixed, the milk and butter are added. And they make salads and other things, "he told reporters.

The royal parents also make sure to play outside in the garden with the children whenever the weather allows it. And recently, it was reported that Prince George was helping the workers who were delivering the family's errands every time they stayed at Anmer Hall.

"It is rare that anyone has ever [offer] Delivering deliveries inside … Waitrose's delivery men were surprised and delighted to be greeted regularly by Prince William and Prince George, "said Emily Andrews, a correspondent for The Royal. "George is always particularly helpful and is the one who asks every time what he can wear for them. It's a very curious kid … They give him lighter bags. This shows how William is down-to-earth and that he wants his son to grow up courteously and help others. "
