The global study of office designs and distractions was conducted among 5,150 employees working at least three days in a business environment.

There is a growing reaction against open office projects. Studies have shown that open plans lead to less face-to-face collaboration and lower productivity, especially for creative people. Work distractions are not just a problem for open offices. Only 61% of survey respondents reported working in an open office, but 98% of those surveyed said they were distracted from work.
