Journalists never trust a rumor, but some rumors have more credibility than others – and few have a track record of attaching to Apple publications, such as analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who for the first time revealed the size of the screen and the features of iPhones last year, among others.
Now, Kuo has released a new analyst note (via 9to5Mac and MacRumeurs) with his predictions on the entire range of Apple devices, and he corroborates the information that the Cupertino company would also launch three iPhones in 2019 – including one with a triple camera system.
While Kuo predicts that the phones will have the same screen size and even the same notches – and that the 6.1-inch iPhone XR tracking will still use a cheaper LCD screen, rather than the same. an OLED display – it adds that these phones should have an upgrade Face recognition system, improved battery, frosted glass case (perhaps similar to the frosted disc of Pixel 3) and, more intriguing, radio broadband wireless for inland navigation and two-way wireless charging for your phone to recharge other things.
Like, perhaps, AirPods headphones with wireless charging – since Kuo says these, as well as the highly anticipated AirPower wireless charging mat – will be delivered in the first half of 2019.
Unfortunately, Kuo says the phones have proprietary Lightning connectors for traditional charging and data, instead of adopting the USB-C standard. USB-C currently allows wired loading faster than Lightning.
Kuo also corroborates rumors that Apple is finally updating its iPod touch and iPad mini. Apple also announces the launch of two new full-size iPads, only with larger screens of 10.2 inches instead of 9.7 inches. at the size of the iPad Pro.
