Gears 5 will be launched in September, but the developer The Coalition allows players to play earlier thanks to multiplayer technical tests. The studio has now shared more details about the technical test periods, including when they are available, how to enter, their content and more.
When it is available
There will be several tests, the first of which will begin July 19 at 10 am Pacific time. It runs until July 21st, with a second beta beginning July 26th at 10:00 am and ending July 29th. The beta client can be downloaded from July 17 at 22:00, but the servers will be online later.

The multiplayer technical test of Gears 5 will be available on Xbox One and PC.
How to enter
All Xbox Game Pass members can participate in the Gears 5 multiplayer technical test at no additional charge. The technical test will automatically appear in your library. In addition, all those who pre-order Gears 5, in digital form or on disk, have access to technical test weekends. Xbox Live Gold is required.

The following multiplayer modes will be available in the Gears 5 technical test:
