After spending several weeks training with the Nets, Isaïa Cordinier lost interest in the team. Ordinary was the 44th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and he managed to make his debut on the All-Eurocup First team last season. The French guard also played for the Nets this summer in Las Vegas, but after all that it still wasn’t enough to meet a mutual agreement on a contract.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Brooklyn “Refused to submit a takeover bid” to Cordinier. That may still work in the 24-year-old’s favor given the type of year he’s had.

The French have an average of 15.8 PPG and 5.2 RPG on 53% of shots on the field with his former club Nanterre 92.
