The new Shenmue 3 trailer shows the fight

Since its unveiling at the 2015 E3, Shenmue III has received only very little news about it. In addition to getting an official release date after suffering not one but two delays, the publisher Deep Silver largely dismissed the project from the public. However, a new trailer shows the engine and the fighting of the game. And it looks good.

The trailer, which lasts only a little over two and a half minutes, begins with the protagonist of the series, Ryo Hazuki, shattered on the floor, with the mysterious girl, Ling Shenhua, kneeling beside her. A random thug with hair like a helmet, who is probably the one who is responsible for Ryo lying on the floor, makes fun of him.

The trailer is then transmitted to Ryo, following reports that morons have searched for an object called the Pheonix mirror. After the duo investigates a few tracks, we see Ryo train with a mysterious hermit familiar with his father, Iwao Hazuki. It's here that we see Ryo engaged in two battles showing the fighting of the game. This is reminiscent of fighters from the early '90s / debuts like Virtua Fighter or Brawlers like The Bouncer. You can see the trailer below.

Shenmue I & II was launched on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 21, 2018. The collection combines Dreamcast's two classics with HD visuals, smoother frame rates and reduced flicker effects. Thanks to the Sega publisher and the developer of the collection, d3t, this Shenmue I & II collection is the best way to discover the cult classic of modern material.

Shenmue III should be launched on August 27, 2019 for the PC and PlayStation 4.
