WEATHER ADVICE

RAINFALL WARNING (Sacramento River at Tehama Bridge)

The next Weather Maker we've been talking about these days is coming down the coast giving rain in the valley and snow in the mountains.

The current storm will continue to give us showers throughout the day and snow levels are expected to increase slowly but remain low. From about 1,000 feet this morning ended up rising to about 2,000 feet.

The downpours of the valley will continue throughout the first half of the day Sunday, before giving way to drier conditions and clear skies. However, the mountains will continue to show scattered snow showers all day long.

We will start with a dry weather Monday before another weak storm moves next Tuesday, giving us more rain and snow in the mountains.

After Tuesday, the long-term forecasts will keep us dry and soft until the end of next week and perhaps until the weekend.
