IDAHO FALLS – As of Monday, February 8, the restriction order for the compulsory wearing of face masks has been rescinded in Bonneville County. Additionally, Madison County has been lowered from high risk level (red) to moderate risk level (yellow). The restriction order for the mandatory wearing of face masks is still in effect for Madison and Teton County.
Even with the Bonneville County order and ongoing vaccinations in the health district, we are not yet out of the woods regarding the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. We STRONGLY encourage getting vaccinated when it is your turn, staying home in case of illness, washing your hands frequently, keeping a space (at least six feet) between people and when you are away. not able to move away, to wear a mask correctly and consistently. Please take personal responsibility for your health and make the best choices for you and your community.
There is still time to register on our appointment list for the COVID-19 vaccination. We will randomly assign available vaccination appointments to all those on the list BEFORE Thursday, February 11, at 8 a.m. of their appointment, which could run from February 15 to the end of March. To give us time to make all of these notifications, we ask that you DO NOT call our office before February 22 to verify your appointment. Thank you for your patience with this process.
If you put yourself on the waiting list AFTER February 11 at 8 a.m., you can expect a call or text from EIPH between February 22 and 26 to let you know about your assigned appointment.
