The potatoes are coming back to Taco Bell. Earlier this week, the fast food outlet announced that it was turning the tide to bring back the option after cutting a substantial portion of its menu last fall. Needless to say, fans are thrilled with the move – so much so that the addition has become the topic of social media conversation.

“The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong continued commitment to vegetarians that we are making this year,” said Liz Matthews, Global Director of Food Innovation at Taco Bell. “We’ve long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year we have more meatless options in store that vegetarians, the curious and even meat eaters will love.
