Dungeons & Dragons spinoff video game Neverwinter has released a trailer for The Redeemed Citadel’s fourth and final content milestone.
Neverwinter – the free-to-play MMORPG based on the popular Dungeons & Dragons RPG franchise – has released an official launch trailer for the fourth and final content milestone of the Avernus update in several parts of the module The redeemed citadel.

Milestone IV of The redeemed citadel adds a new chamber, The Forge – which allows players to upgrade their hunting armor, as well as craft divine armor. In addition, Milestone IV adds the Aasimar as a race of playable characters. Players unlock the Aasimar at the end of the milestone if they have purchased all Reforger blessings and claimed all personal rewards. The racial abilities of the Aasimar race are as follows:
- Celestial Superiority: Damage dealt, outgoing healing, incoming healing, and maximum health are increased by 1%. Players take 1% less damage from all sources.
- Ability Scores: Grants a player +2 to any two stats.
- Celestial Presence: Grants all nearby party members a 1% increase in maximum health. This effect does not stack.
Additionally, players will be able to earn new rewards by Milestone IV, including “Crown of Candle Transmutation”, “Reforger’s Pants”, “3x Blessed Gifts of Companion’s Choice” and “Premium Legendary Insignia Choice Pack”. A collection of screenshots from the milestone can be found below.
Never winter initially released for the PC in June 2013, with console versions arriving later. the Neverwinter: Avernus module – the game’s 19th expansion – launched last June, with the Redeemed Citadel update dropping its first milestone in August. To access The redeemed citadel, players must have a level 80 character, as well as complete the Avernus countryside and Mote of Virtue scenario.
Neverwinter: Avernus is developed by Cryptic Studios and published by Perfect World Entertainment. The fourth and final step for The Reedmed Citadel is out now on PC and will arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date.
