A web page published by NTT Docomo (via SamMobile), the largest mobile phone company in Japan, reveals that Samsung is offering a special Olympics edition of the Samsung Galaxy S10 +. The 2020 Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from July 24 to August 9. The special edition model is almost identical to the Prism White Galaxy S10 +, but features a special Olympics 2020 badge in Tokyo on the back of the handset.
The pre-orders started yesterday for the device via NTT Docomo and will continue until the day before the release of the phone. Although no specific launch date has been announced, the phone should be available by the end of July. The model is priced at 114,696 Japanese Yen, which equals $ 1,042 at current exchange rates. The phone can also be purchased for 36 monthly payments of 3 186 yen (28.94 USD).

The Samsung Galaxy S10 + is equipped with a 6.4-inch AMOLED dynamic display with a resolution of 1440 x 3040. This corresponds to a 19: 9 aspect ratio. The US and Chinese models are powered by the flat Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, while the Exynos 9820 SoC drives the device in the rest of the world. We expected that the Olympics edition has 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage. There is a triple camera configuration at the back (12MP + 12MP main telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom + very large 16MP format) and a double selfie in front (10MP + 8MP). A faster, more accurate integrated ultrasonic fingerprint reader is on board and a 4,100 mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 9 Pie is preinstalled with Samsung OneUI interface. The latter places all the items that can be operated near the bottom of the screen, so that they are easily accessible without having to stretch your finger to reach the top of the screen.
