The power to decide who has advanced is reserved for fans around the world, who voted for their favorite numbers. Five came closer to win a million dollars, while six other groups saw their dreams broken one week before the final.

The fans' choices

The three acts with the most votes automatically advanced.

The face-off

Alex Dowis, Blacklight painter, opera singer Emanne Beasha and comedian Ryan Niemiller finished in the middle of the pack and were on the verge of elimination.

Union and Julianne Hough voted for Beasha to stay. Mandel opted for Dowis. Cowell was the decisive vote and he chose Beasha to advance.

"America's Got Talent" will be back on September 17th for the finals (NBC, 8 EDT / PDT), where the Top 10 will have one last chance to smother America.
