A few minutes after fans spread a "Trump 2020" banner on the top deck of the baseball stadium – where the MLB Red Sox hosted the Seattle Mariners – the red-white-blue banner was torn apart.
As with most public events today, social media has generated a variety of reactions, both when the banner and the White House ceremony were withdrawn.

There was no immediate indication as to whether any fighting resulted from the removal of the banner or whether fans had been ejected – whether to suspend or remove the banner.
On Thursday, Trump paid tribute to the club for defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in last year's World Series.
