The veteran of the Texans, a member of the forced group, the already precarious status of the alignment of Ryan Griffin took a negative turn when he was arrested for breaking the window of a hotel late Friday night.

Griffin, 29, was charged with vandalism and public drunkenness.

Griffin reportedly broke a window of the Indigo Hotel, according to police officials in Nashville, Tennessee.

Griffin's left hand and fingers were bleeding when he was met by the police.

"He appeared drunk and unstable on his feet," police said in a press release.

Griffin was released from prison on Saturday morning at 7:15 am with a bond of $ 1,750.


Griffin, who has undergone a sports hernia surgery this off season, has been with the Texans since 2013.

"We have been in touch with Ryan," Texans general manager Brian Gaine said Saturday after the NFL draft. "We are aware of the situation, we have commented on it, but for now we will not comment on it."


Beyond the off-road problem, Griffin is competing with Jordan Thomas and Jordan Akins as well as third-round pick Kahale Warring and veteran blocker Darren Fells.

Griffin has 24 assists for 305 yards and no touchdown last season.

For his career, the 6-6, 265 pounds has 136 receptions for 1,491 yards and seven touchdowns.

Griffin is entering the final year of a $ 9 million three-year, $ 3.225 million guaranteed contract. He must have an unsecured base salary of $ 2.25 million this season.
