The Nyack Village Planning Board, South Nyack Board of Directors and Upper Nyack Architectural Review Board will all meet. Public hearings for the villages of Nyack and Upper Nyack are scheduled for later this month. Paving at Nyack is expected to continue on Wednesday and possibly Thursday.

The Nyack Business Council will hold a meeting via Zoom today (Mon 13 September 2021) at 4 p.m.

Milling and paving this week

Milling and paving is scheduled to continue on Wednesday September 15, 2021 and possibly Thursday September 16, 2021. Notice of public hearings

The Nyack Village Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Village Hall, 9 N Broadway, at 8 p.m. to consider passing local legislation to amend Chapter 360 – 3.2 of the Code zoning with regard to Use-specific standards for solar energy collectors. Temporary stopover by bus in the city center

Due to the construction of the supermarket in the Riverspace building on Main Street, there will be a temporary stopover for relocated buses on Cedar Street, on the west side of the street adjacent to Veterans Park. This will be in effect until October 18, 2021.

Save the date – Countdown to kick off 150

Upper Nyack will be 150 years old in 2022. The initial event, the opening of Sculpture Path, will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. at River Hook Preserve, 626 N Broadway. There will be music, tours, history talks and refreshments.
