The Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes joined Fortnite during Fortnitemares 2021

Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead joined Fortnite during his Fortnitemares 2021 event.

While Rick appears in Fortnite for the first time, he is joined in the Item Shop by returning Walking Dead outfits inspired by both Daryl Dixon and Michonne.

While Rick can be purchased on his own for 1,500 V-Bucks, the 1,900 V-Bucks Rick Grimes Pack will also offer players the Sheriff’s Duffle Back Bling, the Crashin Satellite Glider, and the Walker Club Pickaxe.

If you want the entire Walking Dead collection, the Survivors in Arms 2,500 V-Bucks bundle includes Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and all the items that come with them.

This news comes just after AMC revealed that the release date for Part 2 of Season 11 of The Walking Dead is February 20, 2022. This final set of episodes in the series which debuted on October 31, 2010 will be available on February 13 for those who are subscribed to AMC +.

Rick joins an ever-growing list of spooky themed costumes that will be joining Fortnitemares this year, including outfits based on Universal Pictures monsters like Frankenstein and The Mummy. There are also community-created Halloween-themed maps, games, and experiences that players can check out in the Fortnitemares playlist menu.
