Middleton – Theodore Warren McBride, born August 29, 2019 in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away at the age of 2 on September 27, 2021 at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA surrounded by family. He lived in Middleton, MA with his loving family.
Theodore is survived by his immediate family: his father, Elliot McBride, his mother, Jessica McBride, and his most incredible 6 year old sister, Vanessa McBride; as well as so many other loving extended family members.
Despite Theodore’s complicated medical journey, his life was filled with love and happiness and is a resounding example of the most incredible resilience and tenacity imaginable. He was and still is a gift to so many people and will always be so.
He enjoyed cuddling with the family, playing with his sister, progressing in her development and growth, listening to music and being outdoors. His laugh and smile were infectious, his hair was enviable and I think it’s safe to say that he literally charmed everyone he met.
Although his journey to this Earth was short, the amount he accomplished, the lessons he taught, and the lives he touched and impacted are countless. He exceeded all expectations, he overcame all challenges and is simply a clear reminder to never give up hope and faith, never underestimate the power of love, always appreciate the gift of today and still believe in family and joy. Thank you, God, for blessing us with our precious Theodore, we are so lucky to have been chosen to be his family.
We will be celebrating Theodore’s life on Saturday, October 9 with memorial visiting hours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mackey Funeral Home, Rt. 114, Middleton, MA to which all are cordially invited. To leave condolences to the family, visit www.mackeyfueralhome.com.
