Kristaps Porzingis could be the biggest name in the commercial market if the Dallas Mavericks decide to pull the trigger. There would definitely be plenty of teams after the 25-year-old forward and the Cleveland Cavaliers could be a part of that. Cleveland is another team that has a big deal in the market and we could see the trade here. Both teams will deserve to be watched in NBA trade rumors as the deadline approaches.

Andre Drummond was originally sent to Cleveland before the shutdown last season. Both sides were rumored to be in contract negotiations but halted once the league came to a halt.

The talks have never had the same momentum and it is now likely that Drummond will be traded at the deadline. He remains one of the best great men in the league and is a true center on the floor. This is something that might interest Dallas.

As for Kristaps Porzingis, his injury problems have not subsided. The Mavericks initially acquired Porzingis from the New York Knicks and hoped he would team up well with Luka Doncic. The two have worked well together when they’re on the floor, but Porzingis has had issues in that regard.

In 17 games this season, Porzingis is averaging 20.5 points. The Mavericks are having a season they weren’t expecting and that could force them to close a successful deal.

This job would give the two teams a different dynamic from the one they had. Here’s what it might look like in the coming weeks between Cleveland and Dallas.
