John Jarvis has released a really cool mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This mod, called "destructive Skyrim – Breakable Objects", allows players to destroy various environmental objects. Now, I do not know about you, but I'm really happy that someone finally brings destructible objects to Skyrim.
As the moder noted, players can now break objects into pieces and watch physics-powered debris flying everywhere.
"This is a small sample of what needs to be done for testing purposes. This mod has been tested only on a clean backup, without mod, for a short time, that 's why it' s a beta version. There may be incompatibilities, so you should make another backup before installing this mod. "
Its first version currently allows you to destroy barrels, chairs and many pots and urns of Nordic ruins.
Note that you will get a bonus if you destroy items in people's shops, taverns and houses. In addition, a small bag will fall destroyed containers so that you can recover the contents of it in case of breakage.
Destroyed items will return to their default state after 24 hours of play. In addition, any loot from damaged containers will be reset, so you will need to immediately recover everything that is important.
In 2015, Jarvis released a video showing some of the destructible items he was working on. Unfortunately, the moderator had to start from scratch. As a result, many of these objects are not part of this release. Nevertheless, this video will give you an idea of what you can expect from future versions.
You can download the first version of this mod from here (for the original Skyrim) and from here (for Skyrim Special Edition).
S & # 39; fun!
