Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players have discovered a powerful secret weapon hidden in a pile of stones. Good. Sort of.

The Secret Isu Arc of Nodens Bow unlocks for players who repeatedly hit a small pile of rocks near the Brunson Turret in Northumbria. In the lake to the north there is a small island, and there you will find the pile of rock ore you need.

YouTuber JorRaptor walks you through the steps here (thanks, Kotaku) and this has now been verified by a number of players:

Hit the rocks a few times – you’ll notice it doesn’t shatter like the others – then save and reload your game. Rinse and repeat until you charge up to find that the pile of stones is now broken, and Nodens’ Bow Hunter’s Bow should appear on the side of the screen.

Whether this is intentional or not (I guess not) remains to be seen, so if you feel like it, go ahead now and grab it before Ubisoft fixes it.

ICYMI, Ubisoft recently released a big bugfix update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Game update 1.1.1 is light on new features but heavy on fixes, with dozens of common issues crossed out.

Among those that stood out for Tom during a quick scan of his very long patch notes were solutions to the bug that many people encountered who saw them permanently stuck in their Mari Lwyd disguise at Halloween even after completing this quest arc. Ubisoft Connect Achievements have also been fixed and should unlock correctly the next time you perform an achievement-related action after the unlock condition.

Next up for Valhalla is a new river raid mode and leveling system for your Jomsvikings, which should arrive in February.
