Thousands of people without electricity in Massachusetts

(WWLP) – Thousands of people all over the state do not have electricity Monday in the form of gusts of wind.

According to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency power cut card, starting at 1:49 pm 46,050 people across Massachusetts were without electricity.

In western Massachusetts, 63 cities reported power outages. In Berkshire County, Florida, Windsor, Tyringham, Alford and Egremont recorded the largest number of power outages.

In Hampden County, Wilbraham reported significant outages with 3,792 people without electricity.

In Hampshire and Franklin counties, several towns and villages reported breakdowns, but no major failures were reported.
