Threads 123, Kings 121: Sonnet of Despair

[ad_1]

Kings have broken my will to live a tragedy worthy of Shakespeare. Instead of recapping, I wrote a sonnet.

Trust the kings. Sad! You're screwed!

Bigger, the Dukes of Hazard make you smile,

Go back, dunks galore, an endless pleasure.

Halftime arrives, kings lead by miles.

Three quarters in, the kings look very good,

"Unveil the nets," shouts the crowd

The Nets hear that, the thread he declines,

And at a quarter to four, kings deny.

D'Angelo, stupidly shunned by the Lakers.

Your regicide game gives tears to the eyes,

Your rider brings the curses of the Quakers,

Your trainings bring many fears in the night.

Woe to fallen kings! Your hope in the playoffs is over,

Nets one-twenty-three, kings one-twenty-one
