TI and Tiny respond to ‘blatant’ sexual assault allegations

You may have heard of some allegations that have been circulating the internet about the Atlanta-based rapper TI (including the real name is Clifford Harris Jr.) and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris.

Sabrina Peterson, reportedly a former friend of the Harris family, shared a post on Instagram earlier this week, where she accused the rapper of putting a gun to her head.

She followed this up by using her Instagram story to share posts from over 30 women alleging that TI and his wife forced them into drugs and sexually abused them, according to a Billboard report.

It was serious allegations that prompted the celebrity couple to issue a statement threatening the lawyer.

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be recorded and, more importantly, want the public to know that they are categorically and in the strongest possible denial of the outrageously appalling allegations made against them by Sabrina Peterson,” a spokesperson said. word of TI and Tiny in a statement to Complex. “The Harrises have struggled with this woman for over a decade. They take this issue very seriously and if these allegations do not stop, they will take appropriate legal action.

The famous loquacious TI also posted an eight-minute video on his Instagram defending himself and his wife from Peterson’s claims they abused women (again describing the allegations as blatant).

“Women who have been victimized deserve to be heard,” TI said. “However, evil has no gender.”

After saying he didn’t want to open his room for the public to comment, TI categorically said everything he and his wife had done was with consenting adults.

“We don’t force anyone, we don’t drug anyone against their will, we have never detained anyone against their will, we have never made anyone else do it. we’ve never trafficked anything – well, never sex trafficking, ”he said.

That aside is probably a reference to TI’s turbulent history with the law, which includes convictions on drug and weapons charges. During probation in 2010 after serving a sentence in federal prison, TI and his wife were arrested for drug trafficking.

“If someone has no right to sue you in criminal or civil matters, the best thing they can do is have you sue for libel,” Tip said. “It’s the motive, it’s the intention.”

Tiny also stepped in to discredit Peterson, say on Instagram whom the woman considered TI as her “uncle” two years ago. “Stop harassing my family. You are strange, ”Tiny added.

For her part, Peterson says she is passed a lie detector test to prove that his claims are true.
