Tickets available for the Denim & Diamonds Gala at AMICA Rockwall – Blue Ribbon News

ROCKWALL, Texas (October 4, 2021) Tickets are still available for AMICA Rockwall’s annual Denim & Diamonds Charity Gala which runs from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, October 16 at Culpepper Steakhouse.

The gala will feature hors d’oeuvres and dinner stations, a red carpet walk and wrap with sponsors and underwriters, early registration of sponsors and underwriters, complimentary drinks and casino chips, live and silent auctions, a cigar bar, dancing with live music, casino games with craps, blackjack and Texas Hold’em tables and a photo booth.

AMICA is a 501c3 charitable organization founded in 1974 by a group of local women wishing to make friendships while contributing to the Rockwall community. Today as then, up to 40 members continue to combine our talents, energies and minds to support each other and make a difference in the lives of others.

Each year AMICA awards scholarships to students of Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School. These scholarships are awarded to promote good students who would otherwise not be able to pursue higher education due to financial constraints. With that same goal of improving Rockwall’s future, AMICA is proud to support the Rockwall Education Foundation, the Rockwall Boys & Girls Club, a variety of RISD programs and the Rockwall YMCA.

AMICA is honored to also support essential charities in our community such as: Rockwall Helping Hands, Alliance for the Arts, New Beginnings Center, Rockwall Rainbow Room, Friends of the Library and Shoes for Kids.

In addition to educational and philanthropic donations, AMICA members also devote time and talent each year to making Christmas stockings and Easter baskets for the children of CASA.
