The man accused of planning an attack in Times Square was so concerned about the operation and the jokes of the press that he was operated on for sight, the report said Friday.
Ashiqul Alam, 22, was worried that his glasses would fall out of his face during the terrorist strike and create an embarrassing debacle that would lead the media to dub him the "Looney Tunes terrorist," according to federal indictments.
